Cloudless Raspberries

So, the past, like, four days have been absolutely gorgeous! When you live in Northeastern Pennsylvania, and it's the middle of March, you're expecting snow and/or rain until at least the middle of April.
'Tis not the case this year. Yesterday was 75 degrees.
I am not a Texan, thanks.
Generally, I like my winter, but I have to say, I'm really lovin' the whole shorts and flip flops thing :)

Softball is starting to consume my life.
It's a funny thing -- during the off season (which is a whopping three months for me), I was feeling really not into the softball thing. I was expecting it to really be a downer (dunno why).
But of course, now that it's started I'm totally in love again! I love the girls, the game, the instensity -- it's my thing. It's very nice to have a thing. If you don't have a thing, I suggest you go get one. Right now. Go! :]

Random: I just overheard my brother saying,
'I haven't taken a shower in days and I'm okay.'

I tried a new lemon bar recipe last night.
In case you didn't know, I happen to be famous for my lemon bars (ya know, within the... very small... limited persons who've tried them...), but I was looking for something even more extraordinary!
So. Allrecipes.com. Bar cookies. Top 20 lemon bar recipes. #1 plus reviewer's suggestions.
Bad lemon bars.
They were super strong.
When pouring the lemon mixture onto the crust, the crust... I don't even know what. It popped out of it's pan or something.
They didn't cook evenly.
And then, the worst thing that could possibly happen to any amateur baker. I feel embarrassed just admitting it...
I found...
in my lemon bar...
an eggshell.
*Insert weeping here*
I almost died.
I have not let one teensy weensy eggshell enter any of my baked goods in the past fours years.
And yet, there it was.
I think I shall retire from the lemon bar baking days.
Or at least switch to my old recipe.
