I actually went to the dentist today (hence why I'm talking about it). Spent almost three hours there with my mom, sister and I getting worked on. Crazy I tell you. No cavities. Nothing but some x-rays and the fastest tooth-cleaning I've ever had and it took almost an hour.
The dentist lady left me in my chair, alone, for 15 minutes, with the sucker thingy in my mouth. During that time I experimented in breathing techniques while having the air sucked out of my lungs, avoiding the gurgling fish noises made when combining breathing with a sucker thingy, and I also discovered the off switch to the sucker thingy, and when after 15 minutes your dentist does not return to tell you to remove the sucker device from your mouth, to switch it off and put it in its holder.
Point I would like to make: I don't like the dentist. Having to awkwardly stare into the eyes of someone you only see twice a year. Yea, not a huge fan.
Highlight of my day - watching three sweet little girls.
I babysit the kids of parents who attend one of the Caregroups my church has. Tonight was the Christmas party and I was invited to hang out and supervise the girls. It was at their house, and it wasn't really necessary to keep them locked up in a room for three hours, so I had it pretty easy. Although they did get a bit hyped-up on sugar...
I even got to watch the littlest one for a bit who's only six months old. I haven't even held a little one that... little, in a few years. I almost got her to fall asleep... almost. She did close her eyes several times. I would've felt so boss if she fell asleep. Guess I'm not quite that skilled :P
I finished Christmas shopping and the holiday is almost here! Yay!
Cheers♥
At the Christmas party, before we started eating, one man asked if the food had been blessed yet. A lady replied, "We bought it pre-blessed". I thought of this :)
