I Feel Like a Monster

   Do you have any memories of random bits of movies you saw as a kid, but have no clue what they are?

   I have lots.

   Scenes of films I saw when I was young sometimes stick with me, for different reasons. Some scared me, made me think, made me laugh, or were just so weird that they never left my mind. So recently I've gotten into the habit of Googling the bits of movies I remember and try to discover what they are and I watch them. So here's a few that I've searched, found, and re-watched.

   Of all the things I saw as a kid, Ghost was one of them. I remembered very little of the movie, but of all the parts I did remember... I remembered when the bad dude got sliced by the glass falling on him... weirdly enough, I remember a more gruesome version than what actually happened... funny how memories can vary from reality.

   Oh yea, and on re-watching this movie, I cried. I don't cry during movies. And I cried. This is definitely one of my favorite movies. Not only did it make me cry, but it made me laugh. Very hard.

   Another completely random movie. I didn't see all of it. All I remembered was the leeches, the pie-eating contest, and when they find the kid... oh. I guess I did see the whole thing.

   Stand By Me... the things they show on TV...

   This movie is the reason for this whole post. I found Cloak & Dagger by Googling "boy chased by 3 fingered movie". Because the kid was chased by a 3-fingered lady. Yea.

   Ended up being... okay, but not that great of a movie.
