Wednesday I went to a semi-local-though-not-really amusement park with my family and other relatives. Because it had looked like rain all day and was only around 75 degrees, there was barely anyone at the park. It rained a bit on the way down, but stayed pretty dry while we were there. I got to meet up with some of my cousins and we all hung out, rode roller coasters, ate waffles & ice cream, and had an awesome time! Then, in my family's tradition, we went to my aunt's house, which is only 10 minutes from the park, and had dinner. And I was able to see my grandma who is now living there, so I don't get to see her very often. It was a lot of fun (although it did end up pouring later on)!
Bones, giving me a look
Although we didn't plan on it, Maddy and I ended up going to my family's campsite and staying over one night. We set up our tent, threw our stuff inside, and chilled with cousins, aunts, uncles, and anyone else acquainted with one of those people. That night we adorned ourselves with glow sticks, made s'mores with Reese's cups, and had some fun times trying to get pictures of people. The next morning we woke up to our wonderful aunts making breakfast - tons of bacon, sausage, blueberry and blackberry pancakes, and eggs. (made by Pokey :) And then we did nothing for the rest of the day. We sat around, talked, took an occasional walk through the woods that we all know like the back of our hand (too cliche?), drank lots of soda, and tried inventing new games to entertain ourselves. In one aspect, it's all terribly boring, but looking at it another way, it's relaxing, and just getting to enjoy the outdoors, in a place I've grown up and so many memories have been made. The rest of my family came up that night, we roasted some jumbo marshmallows, my cousins and I went for a night walk through the wilderness, and then we went home.

The next day, Saturday, we all headed out to New Jersey for a family picnic - the other side of the family. Most of my relatives on that side are older. There isn't anyone my age. On the way down it seemed cold and rainy, but once we got there, the temperature went up to 80 and the sun came out! We ate, swam, ate some more, swam some more - you get the idea. It did end up raining. Pouring actually. So nothing too exciting, but it was nice. Then we traveled 2 hours back home.
I really don't know what this is.

And now I'm sure you're all glad to know that my recap is over. Now on to more important things.
Switched At Birth.
I just recently became obsessed with this show. I'm hooked. I'm really not a huge fan of ABC Family's shows, but this one... I like it. Some of those ASL classes are coming back to me and I'm actually picking up on some new stuff.
Not to mention I'm desperately in love with the guy who plays Emmet.
Oh yes. Celeb crush.
Have you noticed those eyes? *GUSH*
Even the hair?!
Man oh man.
I'm already planning the wedding.
Not really.
If only I had my own Emmet around... *sigh*
It's funny because their are other movies I remember seeing that kid in. And hey, we're pretty close in age. It could totally work out.
If only all the good-looking guys weren't actors.
It'd also help if they were real.
If I had my choice, I'd take a book, or a movie and just pick some guy out, and pull him right off the pages. Some suave, sweet, good-looking guy, a true romantic.
Am I getting a little carried away? My apologies. One can get swept away in the waves of love and romance.
Especially in the fantastical kind.
But enough about the fake guys we all dream about (yes, you. I know you do).
Have a wonderful week!
Cheers♥
