Wednesday: Day One

Hey y'all! (sorry attempt at being Southern) I'm back! And let me tell you, I had an AWESOME time! Because I have so much to tell you and so many pictures, I'm going to write a post for each day I was there. Sound good? I might also make an album for photos somewhere, that way if you want to see all 700 photos I took, you can go there ;) So. Here we go!

Wednesday morning we got up and got packed (I'm still amazed that I actually got to sleep the night before). We had to fit an enormous amount of stuff in our van. So much that we had to take the back seat out! We also had to go pick up my friend Marissa who was coming with us. Her mom is amazing and made us a meal and got some yummy snacks for our trip. She's amazing! Then we had the four hour car ride. I don't go on too many extreme car rides (I think the longest I've had to go is seven hours), so four hours seems like quite a way to me. But it's not a bad drive. We went through a lot of country and many cute little towns.
Beautiful country and sky :)
 A fantastic little barn
No matter where you are, you can be thrifty.
We also passed a bunch of other cars with same destinations!

As we got closer, thee were TONS of signs with verses on them :D
  And then... we arrived at...
CREATION FEST!!!!!!!!
We got there and ended up getting a not-so-close camping site. At all. In fact, it took us about fifteen minutes to walk to the main stage from our camp site. Which was a bummer. But hey, I burned off some calories. So we got a nice little spot to put our tarp on, and then we returned to the camp site and set everything up. Then we went off to the main stage for the evening performances and speaker. First off: LECRAE!!! I'm not a huge rap fan, and to be honest, I'm not even a huge Lecrae fan. But when this guy performed... he was awesome.
Then Royal performed. They're like the NYC version of Hillsong. They were actually really good.

Then Buster Soaries spoke. He was really good, though not one of my favorites.
Then we took a little break and went to look at the different booths there. I went o Project AK47's booth and got my dog tags!
And who's next? Family Force 5! I honestly wasn't excited for them at all because their performance last year wasn't that great. But this year... they. were. awesome.
He just decided to go in a giant hamster ball
Yes, that is a man in a purple suit with wacky underwear.
And after them were the Newsboys!!
After that we took some lovely showers at midnight. Showering at midnight is a very interesting experience.
I'm sorry this was such a boring post. Wednesday wasn't all that exciting. But don't give up on me! The other posts are going to be MUCH more exciting. Trust me.
Cheers♥
