And the March Hare Sang

Greetings from Texas! I'm not really in Texas, but if I was, I'd be sending you all greetings from there. Hope your weekend has been terrific. Mine has been pretty awesome. Today I went down to Catawissa to visit some family. It was a lot of fun! My cousin Davey gave me a strawberry hand sanitizer. I don't know why. But he did. It smells yummy :] And we got to have pizza for dinner (yumm). We went to KFC for lunch, and not to be a downer on them, but I got Mountain Dew, and it wasn't Mountain Dew. It tasted like salt water. I'd say it tasted like seltzer, but I've had seltzer and salt water, and my MD was more like salt water. So if you went to KFC today, I hope you didn't get Mountain Dew. Also, part of the reason for going down to Catawissa, was that my mom was picking up my sister and my bunk beds. So we got them. And we came home to set them up. Most ridiculous thing I've ever done. They were hand-made, and everything had to got together just right. It was frustrating. It's still not all together because the board for the bottom is too big so my grandpa is gonna cut it down. But the day was eventful anyway.
I was mentally kicking myself on the car ride down because I had told myself yesterday to be sure to bring my camera. Low and behold, I forgot. And there were some beautiful things I would have loved to show you! But my memory ain't what it used to be. So I apologize.
So do y'all know what tomorrow is? Mother's Day! I know there are some of you who forgot. Don't try and hide. I know you're out there. Feel guilty for a couple minutes. You deserve it. Now, go Google "last-minute Mother's Day gifts". I'm sure you'll figure something out. As for moi, I plan on making a really awesome breakfast tomorrow. I'm gonna make a coffee cake, some scrambled eggs, and bacon. And I got some O.J. so everything is gonna be cool. I might even send Liv outside to pick some lovely little flowers. So that's my plan.
Now there was something I really wanted to blog about, but I completely forgot what it was. I wanted to say it yesterday too but forgot then. It bugs me when this happens. Well I know something to talk about.
  Nature.
I have always been a big freak about noticing the silliest things and thinking them so amazing or beautiful. Some days, I'll see a cloud and suddenly exclaim, "Oh what a beautiful little cloud!" I was having a few of those moments today as I was driving along. Some of the forests there were so green! I mean like a really bright jellybean green (not literally the color of a green jellybean, but jellybeans make me think of bright colors. Just to clarify that). And the orange leaves against the blue sky was just amazing. And to think God made all that!! It's a bit hard to imagine. I mean, just think of a world with nothing. A clean slate. No ideas of colors or anything. Not even darkness. Just nothing. And God with his amazing mind made everything!!! Just thought I'd share my deep insights with you all :b
  So anyway to continue on...
My book: Black by Ted Dekker  This is an awesome book. A cool fantasy/thriller/romance book. The only problem is that once you get hooked on this, you will have to read the whole History of Chronicles to get the whole story. Dekker is a mastermind of fantastic stories. So go read Black and then come back and explain to me what Roush, Shataiki, Elyon, and the Raison Strain are. I'll give you a cookie if you do :]
My quote: "The promise of being transformed and ignited to holy passion by understanding and beholding God's glorious personality is for all believers. No matter how weak or strong we feel, regardless of our previous failures, irrespective of our natural temperaments or personalities, each of us can be ablaze with passion for Jesus." ~ Mike Bickle
My song: "What Grace Looks Like" by 33 Miles. I actually don't like this song that much, but it's been stuck in my head all day. So maybe someone else will fall in love with it and be inspired.
My video: A friend posted this video on Facebook, and I had to share. This drummer is sic, but he's also kind of funny to watch.
Cheers.
