Perhaps some of you have heard of the slightly out-of-season snowstorm some states along the East coast have been hit with.
I happen to live in one of the many areas where that snow storm is happening. And right now, there is 4 inches of snow in my yard. Yea. Before Thanksgiving, before November, before Halloween. It's crazy.
Last winter I'm sure you heard of all the crazy amounts of snow from Pennsylvania to Virginia. I don't know why, but my town was in some snow-repelent bubble. Because every single town surrounding us was getting anywhere from 6 inches to 2 feet of snow. We were lucky if we got an inch. I think near the end of winter we finally got a nice 10 inches of snow, but this was after everyone else had already received their record amounts of snowfall.
That being said, I see some sledding in tomorrow's forecast... along with pelting my brother with snowballs, muahahaha!

This unexpected snow really got me in the Christmas mood. I even turned on some Christmas tunes while my brother and I played Super Smash Bros. Brawl :D I'm drinking some homemade peppermint hot chocolate (my mom may have slightly overdone it with the peppermint extract, but at least my sinuses are cleared out now), I watched a wicked Penn State game (what are the chances that being down 7-10, 4th down, 42 yards, Illinois's kid, who's kicked 39 good field goals out of 41, would hit the upright!), and I plan on not going to bed before 10. Last night I was in bed at 9:30 and slept until 9:15. I felt extremely lazy. Especially considering it was a Friday night and I've slept in till 10 the past three mornings. I guess this cold has just taken it out of me... or I'm just really lazy ;)
Tomorrow's plans are church, the first meeting for a Bible study my friend's mom has started up, and possibly the movies to see either Puss In Boots or Footloose. Personally, I have my hopes set on Footloose, but my mom's on the negative for some odd reason. Considering she never monitors anything I watch. Every once in a while she has these weird "parental moments" where she gets oddly protective. They usually only last a few days though, then it's back to "whatever, I don't care." :p I won't complain if she doesn't let me see it, but I think it's funny when she goes all "supermom" at random times. Haha :)
I'm hoping maybe Maddy and I can watch Paranormal Activity 2 tonight. I feel the need to watch something spooky...
Actually, I feel the need to watch a Christmas movie, but I think that's just what I like to call "the first snow effect" ;)
Cheers♥
My dad thought it would be awesome if he were in one of my pictures...
