Muffins & School

So my internet was out from Friday to Monday.
How did I survive, you ask?
   I have no idea.
I've never really seen myself that dependent on internet. But apparently, I go to it quite a lot. I actually had to find some other way to entertain myself. Thankfully, I actually had a few activities going on this weekend to keep me somewhat un-bored, but still.
So Friday night there was a little going away party for my friend who left for Germany today and will be there until Christmas. It would've been a bit more memorable if her mom hadn't been in such a not-good mood and had remembered that five girls were coming to sleepover and there hadn't been a breakfast thingy she was going to the next morning, resulting in her making us promise we'd be asleep by midnight.
Unfortunately, we Christian girls obey our parents. And others' parents as well.
So after a one round game of sardines, discussions about aliens and demonic possessions, reminiscing on the past, trying to sneak food into Rachel's bedroom, getting caught and sent back to the kitchen, deciding to sleep upstairs with the food, and watching Signs (which I slept through), we all went to bed. I think it was more like 1am when the movie was actually over. But in all honesty, Rachel could've gotten through a breakfast with only 6 hours of sleep. 8 hours was NOT necessary. So the whole last-time-we'll-see-you-till-Christmas party was a bit of a failure.

Saturday I had softball tryouts and a birthday party. The party wasn't all so great because I either didn't know or don't hang out with half the people there. Thankfully, she had invited 3 other girls from our softball team that no one else knew, so I chilled with them and actually didn't have too bad of a time. There were yummy cupcakes. And in the end, I actually was having an ok time playing manhunt... until my mom came to get me. If I had known there would actually be FUN in the party, I would've stayed longer. But oh well. The cupcakes made up for all :)

And nothing else exciting has happened. I started school, which isn't going too bad. I got done at 11:30 today, which is why I'm blogging midday rather than midnight.
Have you started school yet? How's it going? What grade are you in/going in to? Are you excited or petrified? (hehe, whenever I use the word petrified, I think of a petrified ham! for reasons you wouldn't understand...)
Cheers♥
Note: All pictures are just some flashback shots from last summer :)
