The life of the busy... and the not so busy

Hey! What's going on? Nothing? A lot? The norm? (Random fact: I have a friend who's nickname is Norm.) So I was pretty satisfied with my last post. Good posts only come like once every two weeks. Me being in a creative writey mood is rather rare. Usually as I'm writing, I can think of nothing to write about. And usually, as I'm going to bed, I think of a whole pile of awesome things to post about. But unless I write them down, I forget them (Oh the life of those with short-term memory loss. Yes, I do have it.). So then, as a result of this, I must bore you all with the tedious details of my day - which would normally be pretty boring.
So what should I talk about? Music? I could go on forever about music, though honestly it'd be pretty boring because I'd just start droning on and on and on... we'd never get anywhere. Movies? Well, honestly, I don't watch many movies and very rarely go to see them in the theater. In fact, the last movie I saw was "Silence of the Lambs". And that would not make a very appropriate blog post at all. Perhaps technology? I just happened to have a fairly long discussion on technology with the sweet lady who I was assisting in the "Snack Shack" for VBS. And I think I've worn that subject out.
So I'm really sorry, but I don't have much to say. I've been trying to think of something, typed something up, erased it, thought some more, but nothing is coming into my brain. Therefore, I am going to steal a little bloggy challenge from a fellow blogger to fill the blankness of my mind. I might not do this consecutively, but I'll be sure to do it on the days that I feel blogless. And maybe it will inspire me to write something more. I'll post a link to her blog at the bottom so you can check out the whole challenge.
A- Animals. Talk about any animals you've had, have, or want.
I'm actually not too excited about this one because it makes me sad.
My first pet would be Smokey, my dad's beagle. I really don't remember him. He was the one who bit me. He got put down shortly about that so I really have no memories of him.
My second pet would be Ruthie, our dog. She was a yellow labrador retriever. She was honestly the best dog in the world. It can't even be exaggerated how awesome she was. She lived to be about 15 and had to be put down two years ago this August. I miss her a lot.
Then, I suppose somewhere in here you could squeeze in the three anoles I kidnapped while in Florida. They were cute little lizard things that had lightening speed and would bite your finger with their little teeth and hang on. I think they died from lack of food and heat. Sorry little guys :( I was only 9, so I wasn't so responsible then...
And then there's Chloe. She is a yellow labrador retriever. I don't really know what to say about her. I'm not so attached to her, I think partly because of Ruthie. She's sort of stupid, but sort of smart... in a dog way. She will be 2 next month. Currently, she is underneath the computer desk, sleeping at my feet. She's a nice dog... she just has such a personality, there's really not much I can say...
And that's all the pets I have had or have. Now for what I would want...
I would love to get a bird of some kind. Something friendly that would sit on my shoulder (chickens do work for this, but their balance isn't so great and I don't think they enjoy it very much). And a lizard. Or turtle. Or frog. Preferably a lizard. They are so cute! I want one. Oh and I'd also like a chinchilla or a ferret. Either one is acceptable (Hey, my birthday's in 12 days! Now y'all know what to get me ;).
Cheers♥
