Inspiration

So I was just reading Natalie Lloyd's latest blog post, and she was talking about different things that inspire her. And her post inspired me.
What inspires me? Lots of things, I guess. I'm one of those people who can look at a cloud and exclaim, "Oh! what a lovely little cloud!" Nature is always inspiring. I love watching the sun rise. The window at the foot of my bed faces the east, so every morning, if I wake up early enough, I can watch the sun rise. I love waterfalls too. Something about falling water fascinates me. Two years ago when CLEAR went on a missions trip in Virginia, I got to help out at a day camp for kids with mental disabilities. One day we went to the pool, and one kid would be absolutely captivated if you scooped water up in your hands and let it trickle back into the pool. After that day, I always stop watch water fall, be it from the sky, a rock, or a leaf.
Art inspires me too. Photographs are nice, but sometimes I think a painted picture can capture the life of the moment better than a photo. The artist puts a bit of himself into the painting, a bit of his emotion, what he felt at that moment. Scenic pictures are absolutely amazing.
And music inspires me. Maybe it's because I've been playing the piano for ten years, or maybe I just like music, but I think music is fabulous stuff. I even like some classical stuff (okay, I think that's from being a pianist...). I have times when I'll listen to a song and I'll start dissecting it. First time, I'll notice the drums, the beat they make. The the guitar and every note it hits. And it just goes on like that.
So there's some amazing music that inspires me. I think I'll share some of it with you.
I actually learned how to play this, but I don't play it quite as well as this lady ;) It's such a captivating song.
This song is amazing.
I play this one too, but not as good as Yiruma himself. My friend wants me to play this at her wedding one day :]
Apologies for the Spanish subtitles.... This song has such simple lyrics, but they're really powerful. The story behind the song is tear jerking too.
I hope you enjoy some of this music. Have a lovely day!
Cheers
