So Isaiah (my 9 year old brother) has had soccer camp all this week, and today everyone was doing bunches of other things, so I was home by myself for most of the day. I did end up making chocolate chip crepes... I made four of them... only got through two... I had to come back for the others later. Then I spent my afternoon on the computer. (yes, I'm such an exciting person, eh?) Well, I was searching around Youtube, and read some suggestions from people and I happened upon Christian Beadles. He's some kid, who makes Youtube videos and happens to know some famous and unfamous people. But he claims to be a Christian (his name is Christian too. Coincidence? I think not), so I was checking out his work. Seems like a cool kid. Some of his videos were making me laugh, and I'm a hard nut to crack in the expertise of humor. So kudos to Christian Beadles for being one of the very few people of this world who can make me laugh. (http://www.youtube.com/user/Christianbeadles)
I was supposed to have a double header tonight. 'Twas canceled. I'm not sure why. We've had some rain and thunderstorms on and off today, but it was clear this evening and didn't even look like it had rained much near the field. But, twenty minutes into the drive, we (being my dad and I) received a text stating the games were canceled. So, we turned around and stopped at the Bluebird diner to eat dinner. I got chicken fingers! (I know you were all dying to know that. Don't lie. You wanted to)
So I came home and did soft toss. Got a lovely little blister. Went to Salvation Army with my mom (it's half-off day!) and got five pairs of jeans with will be cut into shorts. I was in desperate need of shorts for next week which is...
CREATION FEST!!!!!!!!!!!
I found a cute Aeropostale pair with the most ADORABLE buttons. They were the only pair not 50% off, but my mommy got them for me anyway :)
♥I heart my mommy♥
So that brings me here. At this moment. Where I am now. Sitting in front of the computer. Blogging. To you. All.
Oh I didn't mention I got my memory card. There are now 783 pictures needing to be taken on my camera. And I'll be sure to be taking lots next week at...
CREATION FEST!!!!!!
I should probably start making a list of things I'll need to bring.
A list you say? Probably a very undetailed list.
Nope.
Mine goes all the way down to the exact pairs of underwear I will need to bring.
TMI
And my mom and I still have to figure out what we will be doing for meals. One night will definitely be chicken quesadillas. Maybe whimpies another night... We need some easy freezable and reheatable ideas. Got any?
So for the past couple days I've been trying to upload the video of our arrival at Creation Fest last year onto my blog. It. Will. Not. Work. I'll try again, just to humor myself...
Well, currently the video picture is there, but it's uploading. This happened last time, and I have no clue if it will actually finish. Or if I'll bother waiting long enough. Which is a shame for you. I'm not entirely sure what I say in the video as I've stated previously, the sound card in our computer is busted and we therefore have no sound.
Oh, I thought of something to talk about while I'm waiting.
So, when Dad and I were in the diner, I started talking about how I'm overly observant of details and use my deductive reasoning to discover things. So we got talking about crime and such (my dad loves to talk about this kind of stuff... I don't know why...), and we were sitting next to the window and noticed two ladies sitting in a car outside the diner. And observing different details like when they arrived, their actions and such, we thought of why they might be there. I was right in the end (they were waiting to meet someone). So I guess that was some daughter/dad bonding time... accusing random people of crimes.
My video is still uploading. Why does it take so long? Maybe I should entertain you with some entertaining Youtube videos whilst you wait (well, actually you're not waiting. I am.)
Nevermind, the video is done. I'll entertain you anyway.
Julian Smith put up a new video... "Granny Games"
NEVERMIND. I can't get any videos or pictures or anything on dumb Blogger. I can't start a new line after putting stuff up. GRRRR.
Well, here's the link anyway: Granny Games
Oh and I have a new favorite song. By Lecrae. I'm really not into rap. I know everyone loves him, and I think he's a cool guy, but most of his music just isn't... me. But I really love this song. And it really makes you focus on God. It's amazing.
Well, I hope y'all (Southerner impersonator) had a wonderful Wednesday. Have a lovely Thursday too!
Cheers♥
